Distance will never diminish your connection, nor does it lessen the strength of your relationship. But it can be upsetting to not see your loved one for days, weeks, or months at a time. In ‘A tale of the heart’, a lover writes a letter to his beloved, expressing his feelings and thoughts, hoping it will ease his feelings of loneliness and isolation. And, in the end, after realizing the truth that words do little justice to the thousands of different emotions he feels, he crushes the paper and throws it in the trash can.
